The Power of Self-Evaluation: Calculate Your Probable Score
With both the official preliminary answer key and your response sheet in hand, you can now accurately calculate your raw score. Here’s how:
- Compare Your Responses: Go through your response sheet question by question and compare your marked answers with the correct answers provided in the preliminary key.
- Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, award yourself +1 mark.
- No Negative Marking: Importantly, there is no negative marking in AP EAMCET for incorrect answers. So, do not deduct any marks for wrong attempts.
- Tally Your Score: Sum up all the marks for correctly answered questions. This total will be your probable score.
This self-evaluation process gives you a realistic estimate of your performance and helps you gauge your chances for admission to various engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy courses.
Objection Facility: Challenging the Provisional Key
APSCHE understands that errors can sometimes occur. To ensure fairness and accuracy, an online objection facility has been activated. If you believe there is an error in the preliminary answer key, you have the right to challenge it.
Key Dates for Raising Objections:
- Agriculture & Pharmacy (A&P) Stream: The objection window for A&P stream papers opened on May 27, 2025, and will close on May 29, 2025, by 5:00 PM.
- Engineering (MPC) Stream: The objection window for Engineering stream papers opened today, May 28, 2025, and will close on May 30, 2025, by 5:00 PM.
Steps to Raise an Objection:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
- Access the Objection Link: Look for and click on the “Key Objections” link on the homepage.
- Login: Enter your Registration Number, EAPCET Hall Ticket Number, and Mobile Number to log in to the objection portal.
- Select Questions to Challenge: Identify the specific questions for which you want to raise an objection.
- Provide Justification and Proof: This is the most crucial step. You must provide valid justification and proper references to support your objection. This includes:
- Book title
- Page number
- Edition (Telugu/English medium)
- Any other relevant supporting documents.
- Submit Objection: Once you have filled in all the necessary details and attached supporting documents, submit your objection.
Important Note: The fee paid for challenging the answer key is typically non-refundable, regardless of whether your objection is accepted or not. Submitting objections without strong, verifiable proof is not advisable.
What Happens Next?
After the objection window closes, a panel of subject matter experts appointed by JNTU Kakinada will review all the submitted objections. Based on their expert assessment, necessary corrections will be made to the answer key.
- Final Answer Key: The final answer key will be released along with the AP EAMCET 2025 results. This final key is conclusive, and no further objections will be entertained.
- Results Declaration: The AP EAMCET 2025 results are tentatively expected to be declared around June 14, 2025. Your rank will be based on your score in the final answer key, combined with 25% weightage of your intermediate (10+2) marks.
- Counselling: Successful candidates will then participate in the online counselling process for admissions into various undergraduate programs in engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy colleges across Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025-26.
Keep a close eye on the official AP EAMCET website for all the latest updates and announcements. Good luck to all the candidates!
