2026 Toyota RAV4 Debuts: Toyota Motor has officially unveiled the all-new 2026 RAV4 in North America, marking the debut of its sixth generation. According to the company, the latest offering of America’s best-selling compact SUV arrives with bold new styling, expanded electrified powertrains, and cutting-edge technology.
The 2026 RAV4 will be available in three new designs — Core, Rugged, and Sport styles — including a new-look Woodland grade and the US market’s first RAV4 GR Sport model, the company informed through the official release.
Additionally, the upcoming model also joins Toyota’s ever-growing list of exclusively electrified models as the 2026 RAV4 offers both hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) options. The HEV system boosts output to 236 horsepower for AWD models, while the PHEV system delivers up to 320 hp and up to 50 miles of all-electric range. All PHEV models come standard with AWD, and select trims support DC fast charging, capable of charging from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes.
“With three distinct styles, two highly efficient electrified powertrains, and available Front- or All-Wheel Drive, the all-new RAV4 offers something for everyone and is ready to take on all of life’s adventures,” said David Christ, group vice president and general manager, Toyota Division.
The new 2026 RAV4 models are expected to start arriving at Toyota dealerships across the US later this year, as per the official release. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
