The massive developmental projects, 339 undertaken simultaneously at a financial cost of ₹41 crore in Nellore Rural constituency are in the final stages of execution.
MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy announced that all the projects will be inaugurated on May 15, ten days ahead of the completion schedule.
Addressing the media on Sunday, Mr. Sridhar Reddy said: “The main project at Kallurpalli housing board colony main road, would be inaugurated by Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P. Narayana, Member of Parliament (Nellore) Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and MLC Beeda Ravichandra.”
The remaining projects would be formally inaugurated by 678 leaders and activists of the TDP Alliance in his constituency, and not by any VIPs. It may be recalled that local residents laid the foundation stone for the projects.
To ensure transparency, Mr. Sridhar Reddy announced that a comprehensive booklet of all the 339 developmental projects detailing their cost, location and photographs would be released.

Meanwhile, Minister for IT and TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh appreciated Mr. Sridhar Reddy’s effort towards fulfilling the pre-election promises and taking development to the doorstep of the people. In his post on ‘X’, he called Nellore Rural as the ‘address for development’ and the power of NDA Alliance Government in the state.
