Indo-Pak War Impact: Amid mounting India-Pakistan tensions, with the Indian Armed Forces swiftly and effectively responding to Pakistani military’s continued violations on Indian soil, a number of commercial civil flights were learned to be impacted at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (also known as IGI Airport or Delhi Airport) in the national capital. According to the latest information available, as many as 30 domestic arrivals and 30 domestic departures were impacted so far since Saturday morning.

Earlier, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and other relevant aviation authorities issued multiple Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), announcing the temporary suspension of civil flight operations at 32 airports across Northern and Western India.
The NOTAMs will remain in effect from May 9 to May 14, 2025, until 05:29 IST on May 15, citing operational reasons for the closure.

Amid rising tensions with Pakistan, Several drones were detected at 26 locations spanning from Baramulla in the north to Bhuj in the south, along both the International Border and the Line of Control (LoC), defence sources reported on Friday.
