Kerala is a State that contributes talented individuals to all sectors, Fisheries Minister Saji Cherian has said.
Inaugurating the Vijnana Keralam district-level council formation meeting here on Monday, Mr. Cherian said the State was able to maintain a diverse education system.
“The Left Democratic Front government has decided to provide employment to 25 lakh people. To achieve the goal, various projects have been initiated under each department. Steps are also being taken to encourage individuals from abroad to start enterprises in Kerala, thereby creating employment opportunities in the State,” Mr. Cherian said.
Agriculture Minister P. Prasad was elected as the chairperson of the Vijnana Keralam district-level council.
Vijnana Keralam advisor T.M. Thomas Isaac and H. Salam, MLA, distributed certificates to candidates selected by various companies.
Alappuzha district panchayat president K.G. Rajeshwari presided. P.P. Chitharanjan, MLA, District Collector Alex Varghese and others attended.
