Andhra Pradesh Transport Employees’ Association members stage a demonstration in Vijayawada on Tuesday, condemning the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Transport Employees’ Association held a silent demonstration at the DTC office in Vijayawada to condemn the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

They held placards and called for an end to terrorism. They paid floral tributes to the victims and observed silence to mourn their deaths.

Regional Transport Officer Venkateswara Rao said: “Gunning down innocent tourists in front of their family members was a barbaric act and the perpetrators of such violence should be dealt with most stringently.”

Zonal president of the Transport Employees Association M. Rajubabu, stated that the attack aimed at undermine the unity of Indian people. He stressed that no country that sponsors terrorism should be spared.

State president of AP Transport Constables’ Association B. Raja, A. V. Satyanarayana, Chandrakala, G. Ushasodari, Ramachandra Raju and others participated in the demonstration.
