Minimum qualifying marks for A.P. Mega DSC exam revised

The Andhra Pradesh government has issued a fresh order, making certain amendments to the earlier ones released on April 19 regarding the conduct of the Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) recruitment examination.

In a statement, Director of School Education, V. Vijay Rama Raju, said as per the amendment, the minimum qualifying marks for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and Persons with Disabilities in language and non-language subjects under the School Assistant category have been revised from 45% to 40%, in line with the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) eligibility criteria.

These revised qualifying marks will also apply to the candidates under the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) category for both language and non-language subjects.

Uploading certificates optional

The process of uploading certificates during submission of applications has now been made optional, providing flexibility to the candidates, he said.

However, the candidates must compulsorily possess the required educational qualifications. The orders state that original certificates must be submitted by the candidates during the certificate verification process, he added.
