Kuvempu varsity’s NSS to hold national integration camp from May 3

The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Kuvempu University will hold a seven-day national integration camp from May 3. Over 150 students from six States are expected to participate in the event.

Students and NSS programme officers from universities in Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka will attend the camp, which is organised under the theme Youth for Vikasit Bharath.

Dhananjay Sarji, MLC, will inaugurate the camp on the university campus at Shankarghatta. MLA for Bhadravati B.K. Sangameshwara, Vice-Chancellor Sharath Ananthamurthy, NSS regional director K. Kartikeyan, and other officers will take part in the inaugural session, the NSS programme coordinator, Shubha Maravanthe, said on Thursday.
