Air Marshal Tejinder Singh takes charge as AOC-in-C of IAF Training Command

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh assumed charge as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Indian Air Force’s Training Command on Thursday.

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh assumed charge as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Indian Air Force’s Training Command on Thursday, May 1. Following the ceremonial takeover, he paid tribute to fallen soldiers by laying a wreath at the Training Command War Memorial.

A graduate of the National Defence Academy, Air Marshal Tejinder was commissioned into the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force on June 13, 1987. A Category ‘A’ Qualified Flying Instructor, he has logged over 4,500 hours of flying. Over the course of his career, he has commanded a Fighter Squadron, a Radar Station, and a premier Fighter Base, and has served as the Air Officer Commanding in Jammu and Kashmir. Before taking on his current role, he was serving as the Deputy Chief of the Air Staff at Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhawan).

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh has been honoured with the Vayu Sena Medal in 2007 and the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal in 2022 by the President of India.
