Sahishnu N., a student of Sri Adichunchanagiri Composite High School in Shivamogga, scored 625/625 in the SSLC exams in Karnataka. The results of the exams were announced on May 2.
He was travelling with his parents when the results were declared. One of his teachers contacted him over the phone and informed him of his score. “I was travelling from Udupi to Shivamogga when I got my results. I am happy,” he said.
On his preparations for the annual examinations, Sahishnu said he did not take stress and studied from the beginning of the year. The teachers and his parents, who are also high school teachers, guided him whenever required.
Asked about his future plans, Sahishnu said he wishes to study engineering in an IIT after PUC, and his dream is to teach in an IIT.
Sahishnu’s father, A.K. Nagaraj, and mother, Prathima, are teachers in government high schools. While Nagaraj teaches Kannada language, Prathima teaches mathematics to students.
