SSLC results: Teacher couple’s son tops State


Akeel Ahmed Nadaf, a student of Oxford English medium school in Nagarbetta village near Muddebihal in Vijayapura district has emerged as one of the 22 students to score 100 percent marks in SSLC.

The only son of school teachers, Akeel has been a good student throughout. He joined the private English medium school after studying in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Almatti till 8th standard.

His father, Nasir Ali, is a high school teacher in the government high school in Madinal, and his mother, Shehnaz Begum, is a government primary school teacher in Muddebihal.

Akeel credits his success to the right attitude and smart study. “I was blessed with guidance from excellent teachers, examination-oriented training, and encouragement from parents,” he said. He wants to become a scientist and solve the problems of society. His father described Akeel as a serious and hard-working student, having a maturity level beyond his age.

School committee chairman M.S. Patil, administrative officer Amitgouda Patil, and principal Ismail Maniyar congratulated the student, his parents and teachers.
