Yadgir district has seen a slight improvement in terms of ranking in Karnataka, from 35th to 33rd rank, in the SSLC exams. The results were announced on May 2.
As many as six high schools, including a government residential school, have achieved 100 % results, while two private unaided schools registered zero results.
The schools that registered 100 % results are:
- Ajim Premji Private Unaided School, Gulsaram in Wadagera taluk
- Shree Khasagteshwar English Medium Private Unaided School in Hunsagi
- Raja Timmappa Naik Jagirdar Private Unadided English Medium School, Kodekal in Hunsagi taluk
- SGKK HPS and HS Private Unaided High School, Rajan Kollur in Hunsagi taluk
- Genius Private Unaided Public School, Mavinagidada Tanda in Hunsagi taluk
- Morarji Desai Residential School in Motanahalli in Yadgir taluk
“The Education Department had initiated action to improve results. The learning progress of the students had been communicated to the respective parents. Proper guidance was given to the schools to improve results. Special classes have been conducted during night hours to improve the learning of each student,” C.S. Mudhol, Deputy Director of Public Instructions, has said.
