Revised FD Rates: These 2 banks revise fixed deposit interest rates; check out updates


As most of the banks have already revised their interest rates for the financial year 2026, Bank of Baroda (BoB) and Kotak Mahindra Bank have also updated their FD interest rates. Take a look at their revised rates, which will be effective from May 5, 2025.

Bank of Baroda (BoB) revised FD rates

According to BoB’s official website, the bank has slashed its FD interest rates for different tenures for amounts below Rs 3 crore. For a period of seven days to 10 years FD, BoB will provide interest rates from 4 per cent to 7.10 per cent to general citizens. The interest rate is between 4.50 per cent to 7.60 per cent for senior citizens.

BoB 444-day Square Drive Deposit Scheme updated FD rates

In this FD scheme, the bank offers 7.10 per cent (earlier 7.15 per cent) interest rate to general citizens while senior citizens get 7.60 per cent (earlier 7.65 per cent) interest rates.

Kotak Mahindra Bank revised FD rates

Kotak Mahindra Bank has reduced FD interest rates by 50 basis points from 7 per cent to 6.50 per cent on 180-day tenure FD.
