Jai Hind.” Those were the precise words posted by the Indian Army on X (formerly Twitter) after launching Operation Sindoor, a precision attack on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). In a statement released shortly after the launch of the operation, the Ministry of Defence said that the attack under Operation Sindoor was “focused, measured and non-escalatory”, only targeting the terrorist infrastructure and not Pakistani Military facilities across the border.
