United Spirits Dividend: Liquor producer declares 400% dividend; net profit at Rs 421 crore


United Spirits Limited, leading liquor manufacturers, posted a earnings for the fourth quarter of FY25, with net profit surging by 75 per cent year-on-year along with announcing a 400 per cent final dividend for shareholders.

As per the exchange filing, United Spirits’ net profit for the March quarter (Q4FY25) rose to Rs 421 crore, compared to Rs 241 crore in the same period last year. 

During the quarter, revenue grew 8.9 per cent to Rs 3,031 crore, up from Rs 2,783 crore in Q4FY24.

The company also reported a solid EBITDA growth of 37.7 per cent to Rs 460 crore, compared to Rs 334 crore a year ago, while operating margins improved from 12 per cent to 15.2 per cent.

Final dividend declared; check out payment, record date

The Board has approved a final dividend of Rs 8 per share on a face value of Rs 2—translating to a 400 per cent payout, according to the company.

The record date for dividend eligibility has been set as August 1, 2025, the dividend will be paid on or after September 4, 2025.

Commenting on the results, CEO and Managing Director Praveen Someshwar said, “Despite a challenging demand environment, we delivered a 13.2 per cent net sales value (NSV) growth in the Prestige & Above (P&A) segment for Q4FY25, and 9.9 per cent growth for the full fiscal year. The reported NSV for the quarter stood at Rs 3,031 crore, 8.9 per cent year-on-year increase, while the underlying NSV growth was 10.2 per cent.”

He also noted that while the growth was primarily driven by a performance in the standalone business, the figures were partially impacted by a lower number of IPL matches played by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) compared to the previous year.
