TD Power Systems: 8.1% equity changes hands in multiple trades in pre-opening deal; stock falls up to 7%


TD Power Block deal news: As per Zee Business inputs, 8.1 per cent  or 1.27 equity shares changed hands in the counter in multiple trades. Amid the block deal news, shares of the heavy electrical equipment entity traded weak by 5 per cent at Rs 468.7 apiece on the BSE.

At the day’s low, the stock hit a price of Rs 460, falling nearly 7 per cent from yesterday’s close.

The buyers and sellers in the transaction are not revealed.

TD Power Systems Q4 results

In the March quarter of the FY25, the company’s net profit climbed 83 per cent on-year to Rs 53 crore. EBITDA climbed 69 per cent to Rs  73.69 crore in Q4 FY25 as compared with Rs 43.49 crore in Q4 FY24. EBITDA margin improved by 430 bps to 20.7% in Q4 FY25 as against 16.4% in Q4 FY24.

Order inflows at the company also climbed 42.7 per cent to Rs 413.4 crore in Q4 FY25 as compared with Rs 289.7 crore in Q4 FY24. In Q4 FY25, Exports order inflows stood at Rs 258.7 crore, up 44.77 per cent YoY, while domestic order inflows was at Rs 154.7 crore, up 39.24 per cent YoY.

TD Power Systems FY26 outlook

For FY26, the company’s initial top line guidance is Rs 1,500 crore. The order inflow rate strongly suggests that upward revision in guidance is highly likely by end of next quarter.

In the business plan for FY26, only marginal growth has been considered for the domestic market, while the company remains optimistic, it is not depending on the recovery of the domestic market to achieve its numbers for FY26 and also going forward in FY27.
