Radico Khaitan launched TRIKĀL Indian Single Malt whisky today, expanding its premium spirits portfolio following the success of its Rampur Indian Single Malt brand.
The new expression is priced between ₹3,500 and ₹4,500 and will be immediately available in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Maharashtra, with plans for pan-India and global rollout.
The whisky is produced at the company’s 80-year-old Rampur Distillery and derives its name from the Sanskrit word meaning “three dimensions of time.” TRIKĀL features tasting notes of warm spice, vanilla, and stone fruits, with a palate offering toasted oak, honeyed peat, and subtle smoke.
Managing Director Abhishek Khaitan said the Indian Single Malt segment has transformed from a niche category to a premiumisation beacon in the global alcohol beverage space. The launch reflects the company’s long-term vision of investing in innovation-led, homegrown luxury spirits.
Chief Operating Officer Amar Sinha emphasized the precision behind the product, from barley selection to the rare combination of maturation casks used in production.
Radico Khaitan, established in 1943 as Rampur Distillery Company, is among India’s oldest and largest IMFL manufacturers. The company operates distilleries in Rampur, Sitapur, and Aurangabad with a total owned capacity of 320 million litres and exports to over 102 countries.
