Borana Weaves debuts on Dalal Street; shares list at 12.5% premium


Borana Weaves Listing News: Borana Weaves shares debuted on Dalal Street on Tuesday with the stock listing at Rs 243 apiece each on bourses BSE and NSE—a premium of Rs 27 or 12.5 per cent over the upper end of the issue price. Surat-headquartered Borana Weaves is a manufacturer of unbleached synthetic grey fabric, a product used in several industries ranging from fashion to home decor. 

The Borana Weaves issue marked the first mainboard IPO in three weeks—the last mainboard IPO was Ather Energy’s, which concluded on April 30. 

Borana also makes polyester textured yarn, also known as PTY yarn, a key raw material used in the production of grey fabric, and also operates in the business of unbleached synthetic grey fabrics for the B2B segment.
