According to data available on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s official website, the number of active cases in India reached 4,026 as of June 3, 2025, at 8 AM IST. A total of 2,700 people were discharged.
Kerala hits the worst
There are 1,416 cases in Kerala, the highest among all states. A total of nine deaths were reported in the state.
Karnataka
The number of total active COVID-19 patients reached 311, with 87 persons testing positive for the infection in the last 24 hours, the Health and Family Welfare department said on Monday.
As many as 504 persons were tested across the state.
A total of 29 persons were discharged during the same period.
The Covid-positivity rate stood at 17.2 per cent and case fatality rate is zero per cent.
Among the total 311 patients, 297 are kept in home quarantine and 14 admitted to hospitals, three are in Intensive Care Units of the government and private hospitals.
Andhra Pradesh
Andhra Pradesh Principal Secretary for Health, Medical, and Family Welfare, MT Krishna Babu, on Monday (June 2), said that 38 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the state over the past three weeks. He confirmed that no new variant has been detected so far.
