Mourning the death of J.S. Chandramouli and S. Madhusudhan Rao (who belonged to Visakhapatnam and Nellore districts respectively) in the terrorist attack that had taken place at Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said on Wednesday that the acts of terror were a stain on society, and history showed that terrorism and violence had never achieved anything meaningful for the causes sought to be promoted.

In a message on X, Mr. Naidu said “the Government of Andhra Pradesh stands in solidarity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Government in their commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty, and responding to terrorism with firm and decisive action.”

Those responsible for the heinous act must be dealt with sternly, Mr. Naidu said, adding that his thoughts and prayers were with the bereaved families.
