The Rachakonda Police has announced a series of traffic diversions in the Malkajgiri area of Hyderabad from April 27 to May 26 2025, owing to ongoing civil works aimed at laying a cement concrete road between Gopal Nagar and Spring Hospital, near Moula Ali Kaman.

According to an advisory issued by Rachakonda police commissioner G. Sudheer Babu, the diversions are intended to ensure the smooth flow of traffic while avoiding public inconvenience and potential hazards. The roadworks are also designed to address the persistent issue of water stagnation on this main thoroughfare, said the officer.

As per the advisory, vehicles travelling from ECIL towards ZRTI Signal, Lalapet, and Tarnaka will be rerouted at Ramadevi Signal via H.B. Colony, Unani Hospital, NTR Statue, ZRTI Y Junction and onward to their destinations. Traffic moving in the opposite direction — from Tarnaka, Lalapet, and ZRTI Signal towards ECIL — will need to take the ZRTI Y Junction, pass through NTR Statue, Unani Hospital, H.B. Colony, and Ramadevi Signal. The public was urged to cooperate with traffic personnel and plan their commutes accordingly to avoid delays.
