Parent Up campaign launched in Thrissur

The district administration has launched Parent Up campaign, aimed at empowering parents through awareness and training as part of the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative under the Department of Women and Child Development. The campaign was officially inaugurated by District Collector Arjun Pandian here on Saturday.

Organised in collaboration with the local self-government institutions and Kanal NGO, Parent Up is a community-driven parenting awareness initiative focused on raising children in an environment of love, care, and safety. The campaign underscores the collective responsibility of families and society in nurturing young minds.

With the tagline “Let’s nurture with loveand grow with confidence,” the initiative seeks to guide parents in supporting the physical, emotional, and social development of children. Awareness classes will cover key aspects of child and adolescent behavioural development, and toolkits will be distributed as part of the programme.
