The District Central Library will conduct model tests on TNPSC Group IV competitive exams from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m on April 28. The free tests will be held in association with N.R. I.A.S Academy and Rotary Phoenix Club. Portions covered for the Group IV model test will be Unit III Indian History, Culture and Indian National Movements, Unit III Tamil writing skills, November 2024 Current Affairs and problems of Simple Interest and Compound Interest in Mathematics.
The first five candidates to score high marks in the test will be given a cash prize of ₹500 each. Three students who come second will be given ₹400, and three of those placed third will be given ₹300 each. Two students who are placed at fourth and fifth ranks will be presented ₹250 each.
In addition to this, the library is conducting practice sessions on its second floor from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday every week for Groups II, II-A, and IV.
