Aegis Vopak Terminals IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of Aegis Vopak Terminals Limited, a liquid logistics and terminal storage infrastructure firm, opened on May 26, witnessed a lukewarm response on its first day share sale window. As per the BSE data, the IPO has seen an overall subscription of 7 per cent until 1:54 pm with bids received for 46.90 lakh shares against a total offer size of 6.90 crore shares.

The QIBs have applied a bid for 26.08 lakh shares against the reserved 3.76 crore shares, translating to a 7 per cent subscription.
While the non-institutional investors’ (NIIs) portion has been subscribed to 2 per cent with 3.00 lakh shares bid against 1.88 crore shares on offer.
Meanwhile, the retail individual investors (RIIs) showed higher participation and applied for 17.81 lakh shares, a 14 per cent subscription against their reserved portion of 1.25 crore shares.
The IPO, which is entirely a fresh issue worth Rs 2,800 crore and does not include any offer-for-sale (OFS) component, indicates that the funds will go directly into AVTL’s business operations and expansion plans.
