Arrangements at 190 NEET-UG centres in Telangana reviewed

A total of 190 centres were arranged in Telangana for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) – Undergraduate (UG) scheduled on Sunday (May 4, 2025), for 72,507 students. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao said that the exam would be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The candidates would be allowed to enter the examination centres from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

The Chief Secretary issued the directions during a video conference, held along with Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, with collectors on the NEET, Indiramma Houses and Bhu Bharati on Friday (May 2, 2025).

Three-tier security arrangements would be made at the examination centres. The top official directed the officials to procure devices to take biometric attendance of the candidates. Additional DGP Mahesh Bhagwat said that extensive security arrangements are being made in coordination with the collectors. Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare department, Christina Z. Chongthu said that CCTVs, basic facilities including drinking water, medical camps are being arranged.
