A Motor Vehicle Inspector serving as the FAC District Transport Officer of Mahabubabad, Mohd Ghouse Pasha, was booked by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for possessing assets worth ₹3.51 crore, disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The ACB officials carried out searches at Pasha’s residence and at four other locations linked to him and his family.
Officials uncovered a trove of documents relating to properties, including two house documents valued at ₹26.85 lakh, 25 open plot documents worth ₹2.28 crore, and agricultural land documents covering over 10 acres estimated at ₹55.98 lakh.
Investigators stated that the market value of the seized properties is expected to be much higher than the documented amounts.
Alongside property papers, household articles valued at ₹7.03 lakh, three vehicles worth ₹32.90 lakh were also seized.
The total assets unearthed during the searches are estimated to be around ₹3.51 crore.
Authorities have confirmed that further verification of additional assets is ongoing.
The accused officer has been arrested and produced before the Special Court for SPE & ACB in Warangal.
The case remains under investigation.
