Bhagva, a global spiritual service and technology platform, plans to set up over 60 Centers of Excellence across India.
The centres aim to offer training programs designed to help institutions deliver top-tier, skill-oriented education while opening doors to global placement opportunities.
Bhagva has collaborated with four Sanskrit Mahavidyalayas, including Bhavan’s Shri Shankaracharya Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya and Sharda Devi Sanskrit Vidyapeeth in Delhi; Shrinath Veda Bhyas Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Aurangabad and Shree Ram Sanskrit College, Nashik. Initially the CoEs will be established in these colleges.
The MoU is facilitated by the International Mandir Prabhandhak Council, while Bhagva will train, coach and place over 7200 pandits till 2026.
Backed by $1 million in Pre-Series A funding, Bhagva will employ all certified Pandits in India and globally. Placement avenues include positions in leading temples, diaspora communities, spiritual resorts, and cultural tourism circuits.
Jagriti Motwani, Founder and promoter of Bhagva said the Centres of Excellence would work closely with Sanskrit mahavidyalas to help students build real-world skills, use modern tools, and find a renewed purpose in their journey and connection to today’s world.
The Centers will offer a variety of offline training programs, including a 7-day certification module under the Recognition of Prior Learning and 60-90-day upskilling courses.
These programs are tailored to enhance soft skills, digital literacy and service protocols, aligning with the evolving needs of contemporary religious and cultural services.
The training modules will include Purohit Training, which focuses on rituals, Vedic practices, and temple conduct.
Prof Dr Shashibala of Bhavan’s Shri Shankaracharya Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya said this is a rare and important initiative to bring back the country’s traditional knowledge with a modern touch.
“Together, we aim to create pathways for students to excel globally while preserving our heritage,” he added.
