In a bid to boost non-fare revenue, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has entered into seven-year agreements with Mudra Ventures and Lokesh Outdoor for advertising rights on its Purple and Green Line trains, respectively.

The deal allows full-train wrapping and interior advertising, turning metro coaches into mobile canvases for brand promotions.

According to a release, BMRCL expects a minimum annual revenue of ₹25 crore from these partnerships.

Highlighting the initiative, BMRCL Managing Director M. Maheshwar Rao, said, “Through this partnership, BMRCL remains committed to offering world-class metro services while leveraging new-age business opportunities to ensure financial sustainability and continued infrastructure development for the city.”
