BTP allows visitor parking next to old KGID building in Cubbon Park

The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) on Thursday announced that visitors to Cubbon Park can park their vehicles in the parking area next to the old KGID building on Sundays and non-working Saturdays of High Court. This parking facility was not available for the public for a few years now.

Users will have to pay the parking charge here as per the existing rates of other parking areas inside Cubbon Park. The facility will be available from 6 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Regular visitors of Cubbon Park said that this was necessary. “There has been an increase in the number of people who visit Cubbon Park in the recent months owing to many groups and small businesses. Hence this designated parking area will help,” said a member of the Cubbon Park Conservation Committee.
