The Congress will organise programmes on Thursday to mark the death anniversary of nationalist and lawyer and former Indian National Congress president Chettur Sankaran Nair, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) general secretary M. Liju has said.
KPCC president K. Sudhakaran will inaugurate remembrance meeting in Kannur District Congress Committee office at 10 a.m.
Floral tributes will be paid to Chettur at the KPCC headquarters here at 10.30 a.m. A remembrance meet to follow will be inaugurated by former KPCC president K. Muraleedharan. The Chettur Sankaran Nair Foundation chairman and former bureaucrat T.K.A. Nair will deliver the keynote address.
