Cyberabad police issues prohibitory orders ahead of NEET exam

In view of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG-2025, the Cyberabad police have issued prohibitory orders restricting the assembly of five or more persons within a 200-metre radius of all NEET UG-2025 examination centres located within the commissionerate.

In an order issued on Saturday, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty said that the restrictions will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 4.

Additionally, all photocopy shops and internet centres within a 100-metre radius of the exam venues are ordered to remain shut during the same period.

Exemptions to the order have been granted for police officers, military personnel, home guards and education department flying squads who are on duty, as well as for funeral processions.

The police have warned that anyone found violating these prohibitory measures will be liable for punishment under the relevant sections of the law.
