The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has registered a case against AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain over alleged irregularities in the construction of 12,748 classrooms in Delhi government schools, an official said on Wednesday, PTI reported.
According to the ACB, the alleged scam is estimated at around Rs 2,000 crore, with contracts awarded at grossly inflated rates. Classrooms were reportedly constructed at a cost of Rs 24.86 lakh each—nearly five times the standard expense, the agency claimed in a statement.
