A truck driver abandoned his truck after Bajrang Dal activists gave it a chase saying that it was illegally transporting beef in Mansur village of Dharwad district on Sunday.
The activists who spotted the truck near Narendra village, gave a chase to it but could not catch it.
They then informed the police.
The police found it abandoned near Mansur village. They said that the truck contained fish and beef.
Dharwad Rural Police have seized the vehicle and registered a case. Investigation is on, the police said.
