The ED has taken its action under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).
According to sources, these raids are being conducted after several FIRs were registered against them in UP and Delhi.
In fact, in January 2025, many centres of FIITJEE were suddenly closed across the country without any information.
This left the future of about 12,000 students in limbo.
In their complaints, worried parents said that they had already deposited the coaching fees for the whole year.
But they were not given any information about the closure of centres.
In their FIRs, parents alleged that the huge amount collected from students for coaching classes was transferred for personal benefits and to other companies.
The investigation is currently underway.
