Fake drug case against beauty parlour owner: police probing son’s role

The investigation into the fake drug case involving beauty parlour owner Sheela Sunny from Chalakudy has now turned towards her son Sangeeth. The police have intensified their probe into his possible involvement after he failed to respond to two summons for questioning.

The investigation team also filed a report in court naming Livia Jose, sister of Sheela’s daughter-in-law, as a co-accused in the case. Livia was implicated based on a statement by Narayana Das, who was recently arrested in the case. He revealed that the fake LSD stamps were placed in Sheela Sunny’s scooter by Livia.

Following this revelation, Livia was officially made an accused in the case. She is currently abroad, and efforts are under way to locate and bring her back to face the investigation.
