Chairman of the TGV Group of Companies and former MP T.G. Venkatesh on Sunday emphasised the need for continuous upskilling and handholding of the youth.
Speaking at a conference on “MSME Digitalisation and Skilling Sensitisation” organised in Kurnool by Singapore-based Tech-Mark Pte. Limited, the former MP highlighted the importance of equipping the youth with the emerging technologies. Tech Mark is currently working with the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in providing skill development solutions.
Addressing college representatives and students who successfully completed Tech-Mark’s upskilling programme in the first two groups, particularly those who excelled and were mapped for MSME digitalisation initiatives, Mr. Venkatesh said he would extend his full support to the ongoing mission to digitalise MSMEs by integrating this trained talent pool with nearby companies across various industries.
Strengthened by global partnerships with TemplateMonster, Weblium (USA), and Cyfirma (Global Cybersecurity Leader), Tech-Mark is building a scalable model for MSME growth and youth empowerment, to be replicated across the country, said M. Satish Babu, founder and CEO of Tech-Mark Pte. Ltd.
Mr. Satish Babu said that Digital Skill Development Centres will be established in Kurnool, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayawada, with focus on AI, Cybersecurity, and IoT. An MoU between Tech-Mark Pte. Ltd., Singapore and Innoworx Consulting LLC (USA) will establish state-of-the-art IoT labs to support semiconductor and electronics growth in the Rayalaseema region, he added.
He also announced the soft launch of Ky’ra, an AI-powered co-founder designed to offer personalised mentorship, upskilling pathways, and digital transformation support to both students and MSMEs. “Ky’ra and her specialised agents will play a vital role in bridging gaps between academia and industry, ensuring tailored guidance and support at every step,” he explained. The formal launch of Ky’ra will be held soon in collaboration with key government stakeholders, he added.
Informing that Tech Mark will soon host two global summits on MSMEs and on AI in Andhra Pradesh, he said that the company would upskill 1 million students across the country over the next five years and digitalise over 1,00,000 MSMEs nationwide with focus on enhanced efficiency, market competitiveness and sustainable growth across priority sectors.
As a pilot project in Andhra Pradesh, 25,000 students will be upskilled and 5,000 MSMEs would be digitalised, beginning with Kurnool district, he added.
