Globus Spirits, the makers of Dōaab Craft Whisky, have unveiled plans to broaden its market footprint by venturing into international export markets. The company is expanding its domestic reach into four additional states this year. Globus Spirit has also forayed into the beer segment through a joint venture with Ansa McAL from the Caribbean Islands. It has commenced commercial production of Carib Premium Strong Beer in Uttar Pradesh.

The company is currently present in markets across Delhi, UP, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Goa, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, and Mumbai. It is also exploring markets like Chandigarh and Orissa, among others.

“We also have teams spread deeply into the hinterlands, tier III–tier IV towns, where a chunk of the mainstream portfolio is consumed. With our mainstream business, we have a presence in five states and may add two more this year. So, we will end FY26 in about 12 states with our luxury portfolio presence and six states for our mainstream products,” said Paramjit Singh Gill, CEO – Consumer Division, Globus Spirits.

He added the company is exploring export markets where the Indian diaspora is well anchored.

“We have been receiving queries from Southeast Asia and a few European countries; we have done small exports into Singapore, Australia, the UK, and are looking at a more meaningful approach. The Middle East, parts of Africa are on our list, along with a few European countries.”

The company is aiming to enter duty-free outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore this year, while also exploring opportunities in the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) market as an alternative.

Globus Spirits’ Luxury brand portfolio includes Doaab India Craft Whisky, Terai India Dry Gin, Terai India Craft Gin Litchi & Mulberries. Its premium IMFL range portfolio consists of Oakton Barrel Aged Whisky, Brothers & Co. Whisky, Governors Reserve 100% Premium Grain Whisky, Snoski Crafted Vodka, Snoski Crafted Vodka Green Apple, and Mountain Oak Premium Whisky Rum.

“Our luxury portfolio will move from three to 5-6 by the end of this financial year. In parallel, we also have a mainstream IMFL business, which has about six to seven additional brands running across whiskey, gin, rum, and vodka. Luxury offerings will be in categories we are playing in — gin and whiskey, and beyond,” Gill shared.

The company projects a total capacity of over 287 million bulk liters with a bottling capacity surpassing 24.2 million cases per annum. Globus Spirits has manufacturing facilities in West Bengal, Bihar, Haryana, and Rajasthan. The company operates a distillery in Behror, Rajasthan, with a capacity of approximately 885 kilolitres per day (KLPD).

Gill added, “We will grow at multiple rates of the industry over the next three to four years and want to be recognised as a consumer business organization soon.”
