Gold prices in Monday’s session shone bright and moved higher by up to Rs 1,474 per 10 gm in today’s session to Rs 96,118 per 10 gm. Silver prices, meanwhile, for the July futures traded strong by 0.8 per cent or Rs 800 at Rs 97,815 per kg.
The gains in the precious metals are spurred amid rising geo-political tensions between Ukraine and Russia, As also, the trade tensions escalating between the US and China after China has been accused of not adhering to the recent trade deal.
