H. Venkatesh transferred as AGDP, Law and Order


The government on Wednesday issued orders transferring H. Venkatesh, who is currently Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Crimes, as ADGP, Law and Order.

The transfer was necessitated by the promotion of Manoj Abraham, who held the post of ADGP, Law and Order, to the rank of Director General of Police and appointment as Director General, Kerala Fire and Rescue Services. Mr. Abraham will assume his responsibilities on Thursday.

Rajesh Ravindran assumed charge as the Head of Forest Force (HoFF) on Wednesday. The appointment of Mr. Ravindran, who previously served as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Forest Management), was necessitated by the retirement of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and HoFF Ganga Singh.

A native of Palarivattom in Ernakulam, Mr. Ravindran is a 1995 batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer.
