Hero MotoCorp teases upcoming Vida VX2 electric scooter, launch on July 1

Hero MotoCorp has dropped an official teaser for its soon-to-be-launched electric scooter, the Vida VX2, hinting at a new budget-friendly addition to its EV portfolio. The VX2 is believed to be the production-ready version of the Vida Z concept that debuted at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

The teaser features Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in a dramatic face-off, reimagining their iconic climax scene — this time as a symbolic battle between traditional ICE scooters and modern EVs. While the video does not reveal much, a glimpse of the front section of the Vida VX2 can be spotted, giving a subtle nod to its final design.

Hero MotoCorp had earlier teased the VX2 on its social media handles, yet withheld major design or specification details. The official launch of the electric scooter is scheduled for July 1.

Earlier spy shots of a test mule believed to be the VX2 reveal a compact TFT display, physical toggle keys, and switchgear seemingly borrowed from the current Vida V2 range. The presence of a keyhole also points towards a cost-effective, practical build—indicating that the VX2 is likely aimed at a more affordable price point compared to the existing Vida V2 models.

Although Hero MotoCorp has not disclosed the specifications of the VX2, it is expected to be priced lower than the V2 lineup, making it an accessible entry into the electric two-wheeler segment for budget-conscious buyers.
