Hotel Leela IPO set to hit Street soon: Issue price, lot size, listing, other key details to know


Hotel Leela IPO News, Upcoming IPOs: Mumbai, Maharashtra-headquartered Hotel Leela is set to launch an initial public offer (IPO) on Thursday, May 22. The upcoming IPO, worth an estimated Rs 3,500 crore, comprises fresh issuance worth Rs 2,500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) worth Rs 1,000 crore. If successful, the Hotel Leela IPO will lead to the listing of the company’s stock on exchanges BSE and NSE.

Hotel Leela’s IPO follows comes close on the heels of two other mainboard issues: Belrise Industries and Borana Weaves. These IPOs come after a gap of about three weeks in mainboard offers. 

Here are key things to know about the upcoming Hotel Leela IPO:  

Hotel Leela IPO to hit Street Soon | Important dates & timings 

The IPO will open for subscription on Monday, May 26, and close on Wednesday, May 28. 

Bidding will be available during normal IPO hours, from 10 am to 5 pm on the three trading days. 

The Hotel Leela IPO will undergo allotment tentatively on Thursday, May 29.  

The listing of Hotel Leela shares on the stock exchanges is likely tentatively on Monday, Jun 2.

Hotel Leela IPO | Issue price & lot size 

Under the three-day IPO window, Hotel Leela shares will be available for bidding in a price range of Rs 413-435 per equity share, in multiples of 34 shares. 

At the given price band, the lot size of 34 equity shares translates to Rs 14,042-14,790 per lot.

Hotel Leela Share Sale | Reservation 

While 75 per cent of the issue is reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), 10 per cent is reserved for retail investors and 15 per cent for non-institutional investors (high-net worth individuals), according to the offer documents.

Headquartered in Mumbai, Schloss Bangalore is a luxury hospitality chain that operates the Leela brand in India. The company owns, operates and develops luxury hotels and resorts in various parts of the country.

Its owned property portfolio comprises five landmark hotels in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur and Udaipur.
