Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced significant updates to its premium SUV, the Hyundai Alcazar, aimed at strengthening its appeal and offering greater choice to customers. The brand has introduced a new Corporate variant in the diesel line-up, along with a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) in the petrol-powered Prestige variant.
The newly launched Corporate Diesel variant comes equipped with a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, one of the most sought-after features in the segment. This feature-rich variant is now available with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options, providing more flexibility for diesel buyers.
Meanwhile, to cater to petrol SUV enthusiasts looking for enhanced driving comfort, Hyundai has introduced the 7-speed DCT in the Prestige Petrol variant. This move offers a more responsive and refined automatic driving experience at a competitive price point, making the Alcazar even more accessible to a broader customer base.
Commenting on the upgrades, Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, said, “The introduction of the Corporate variant in diesel and the DCT option in petrol reflects our focus on delivering a personalised, premium SUV experience.”
