Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) reported total sales of 60,774 units in April 2025, comprising 44,374 units sold in the domestic market and 16,400 units exported.
The company’s export performance registered a robust year-on-year (y-o-y) growth of 21.5 per cent.
In comparison, HMIL sold 63,701 units in April 2024, including 50,201 units in the domestic market and 13,500 units exported.
Tarun Garg, Whole-time Director and Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, said the domestic market continues to face headwinds due to macroeconomic conditions but highlighted the company’s strong export momentum, which rose 16.2 per cent during January–April 2025 over the same period last year.

Stating that the company enters 30th year of operations in India on May 6, 2025, Garg added that HMIL is gearing up to commence operations at its new manufacturing facility in Talegaon in the fourth quarter of 2025.
