The exams were originally scheduled to take place from May 9 to May 14.

The Examination Department of the charter issuer said the new dates for the remaining exams will be announced in due course.

Which CA exams are impacted?

According to the ICAI, which conducts CA exams and is also responsible for formulating accounting standards in the country, the final, intermediate and post qualification-level course exams stand postponed.

These exams are part of the International Taxation-Assessment Test (INTT AT) programme.

Why did the ICAI suspend remaining exams?

The CA body said its move is in view of the “tense and security situation” in the country.
