Infinix GT 30 Pro to launch in India; here’s what we know so far

Infinix GT 30 Pro Launch: After teasing gamers and tech enthusiasts globally, Infinix is now gearing up to launch its GT 30 Pro in India. The gaming-focused smartphone, which recently made its international debut, is expected to land in the Indian market in the coming weeks. And if the global variant is anything to go by, there’s plenty to be excited about.

Infinix India has confirmed that the GT 30 Pro will be available in two colour options — Blade White and Dark Flare — and yes, the RGB lighting on the back is here to stay. This has quickly become a visual signature of the GT lineup and is sure to appeal to mobile gamers who like their devices to make a statement.

Infinix GT 30 Pro: A glimpse of what’s coming

While the brand hasn’t revealed the full spec sheet for the Indian version just yet, we can take cues from the global model. The GT 30 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a silky-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz touch sampling — promising a fluid and responsive gaming experience. It also gets pretty bright, with 1100 nits in High Brightness Mode, and is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. With an IP64 rating, it can handle splashes and dust without breaking a sweat.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This combination should make multitasking and high-performance gaming feel effortless.

On the camera front, the GT 30 Pro packs a 108MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. Selfie duties are handled by a 13MP front camera — more than adequate for video calls and casual snaps.

Power won’t be a concern either. The GT 30 Pro is backed by a 5,500 mAh battery and supports 45W fast wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and even 5W reverse wireless charging — handy if you need to top up your earbuds or smartwatch on the go.

The device runs on Infinix’s XOS 15, which is based on Android 15, and the company is promising two years of major Android updates along with three years of security patches — a welcome commitment.

Expected pricing

Globally, the GT 30 Pro starts at MYR 1,299 (roughly Rs 26,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. A higher-end variant with 512GB of storage is priced at MYR 1,499 (around ₹30,000). However, if we look at Infinix’s recent pricing strategy in India, there’s a good chance the GT 30 Pro will be launched at a more competitive price — possibly under ₹25,000.

Of course, all eyes are now on the official launch event in India, where the brand will finally reveal the local pricing and availability. But if you’re a mobile gamer looking for a stylish device with serious firepower, the Infinix GT 30 Pro might just be worth the wait.
