IPL 2025 RCB vs PBKS Prize Money and Awards: Full list of winners, runner-up, man of the match, orange and purple cap

IPL 2025 Final, RCB Vs PBKS Full List of Winners: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) finally ended their title drought by winning their first IPL trophy with a thrilling 6-run victory over Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the IPL 2025 final. The win comes 17 years after their debut in the inaugural 2008 season. This marks a long-awaited moment of success for the Bengaluru-based franchise.

Batting first, RCB posted 190 for 9. Virat Kohli was the top scorer with a steady 43 runs from 35 balls. Despite a strong effort from PBKS, they fell short with 184 for 7 in their 20 overs. RCB’s bowlers held their nerve in the final overs to secure the win.

This was RCB’s fourth appearance in an IPL final, having finished runners-up in 2009, 2011, and 2016. It was also their first final since 2016. Punjab Kings were playing only their second final after last reaching the championship match in 2014. PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer, who led Kolkata Knight Riders to the title in 2024, could not repeat the feat with his new team.

Under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar, RCB dominated the season match-ups against PBKS by winning two out of three encounters, including Qualifier 1.
