MG Motor India opens bookings for its feature-loaded electric MPV

JSW MG Motor India has officially opened bookings for its latest electric offering—the MG Windsor PRO. Customers can now reserve the vehicle by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000, stepping into what the brand calls the “future of mobility” with a blend of business-class comfort and sustainable driving.

The Windsor PRO is available at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 17.49 lakh, with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option priced at Rs 12.49 lakh + Rs 4.5/km. This special pricing is applicable for the first 8,000 customers only.

What’s new in the Windsor PRO?

The MG Windsor PRO arrives as an upgraded version of the standard Windsor EV, bringing a series of enhancements in terms of battery capacity, driving range, features, and design.

Extended range, bigger battery

One of the most significant upgrades is the 52.9 kWh battery pack, which offers a claimed range of 449 km on a single charge. This is a noticeable leap from the 332 km range of the previous model equipped with a 38 kWh battery.

Smart features, same power

Under the hood, the Windsor PRO continues to be powered by a 136 hp electric motor producing 200 Nm of torque, delivering power to the front wheels. The exterior has been lightly refreshed with new alloy wheels, an ADAS badge on the tailgate, and fresh colour options like Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red.

Upgraded interior & safety tech

The cabin gets a visual upgrade with a light-coloured interior, replacing the older black upholstery to offer a more premium and airy feel. MG has also expanded the safety suite by introducing Level 2 ADAS features such as:

  • Traffic Jam Assist
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Powered Tailgate

Next-gen capabilities

MG has packed the Windsor PRO with modern functionalities like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) technologies. These allow the car to power external devices or charge other EVs—highlighting its focus on future-ready mobility.

With the launch of the Windsor PRO, JSW MG Motor India aims to bolster its electric portfolio, offering a refined package for EV buyers seeking longer range, smarter features, and a competitive price tag.
