Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar handing over appointment letter to a woman at the ‘Rozgar Mela’ held at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Centre in Hyderabad on Saturday (April 26, 2025).

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar stated that the Pahalgam incident represents the height of terrorist brutality and those who wield guns will eventually fall to them.

The Minister assured the people that the retaliation for the Pahalgam terror activity by the Narendra Modi government will shake Pakistan to its core and send a message of assurance to the country that government will not bow to terrorist activities. He sought nation’s support to strengthen Mr Modi’s hands in this regard.

Speaking at the ‘Rozgar Mela’ at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Centre in Hyderabad, he said Prime Minister Modi stood by his word, generating one million jobs. He handed over letters to about 700 people selected for various jobs. So far, 14 Rozgar Melas have been conducted, resulting in the filling of 925,000 jobs.

Mr.. Sanjay said that having secured a job through hard work and study, now it was their responsibility to perform duties with commitment and earn recognition. “You know that PM Modi is determined to create job opportunities, which is why we were able to fill 1 million positions. This is a government that delivers on its promises.”

The Minister said that initiatives like Startup India, Stand-up India, and Make in India were encouraging youth to not only get jobs but also become job creators. During the pandemic, when countries like the U.S. faced economic crises, India remained stable because of the Atmanirbhar package, a feat credited to the Modi government, he asserted.

Mr. Sanjay also criticised the previous BRS government, accusing it of failing to fill jobs regularly. Paper leaks and delays caused injustice to unemployed youth. Even the current State government is plagued by corruption and irregularities, he alleged.
