Kerala Muslim Jamaath State general secretary Syed Ibrahim Khaleel Bukhari stressed the need for moral education to maintain social stability. He was delivering the valedictory address at a district management conference organised by the Sunni Management Association (SMA) as part of the centenary celebrations of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama here on Wednesday.
Mr. Bukhari said that that consistent moral education would be crucial for safeguarding society against pressing issues like drug abuse, ultimately fostering a more stable and secure community.
SMA State general secretary Marayamangalam Abdurahman Faizy inaugurated the conference. Samastha district president Kombam K.P. Mohammed Musliar presided over the function. SMA State secretary Mohammed Kunhi Saqafi delivered the keynote address.
Kerala Muslim Jamaath district president N.K. Sirajudheen Faizy, general secretary Shoukath Haji and SMA district general secretary K.V. Sidheek Faizy spoke.
Clerics who served the madrasas and mosques in the district for more than 25 years were felicitated at the function.
