The Raidurgam police seized ₹74.5 lakh unaccounted cash from a duo traveling on a two-wheeler, during a late-night vehicle checking drive on Wednesday (April 23, 2025).
According to the Raidurgam Inspector Ch. Venkanna, the vehicle was intercepted on the Dargah Road in Raidurgam around 10 p.m. based on suspicion. Upon checking, the police found the bundles of cash from the pillion rider.
Preliminary inquiries suggest the money was being transported for private purposes. The seized cash will be handed over to the Income Tax (IT) Department for further investigation.
